Indy
Indy - pastel sketch.
Indy is a 17 month old golden retriever but 'blonde'. She is called by her owner her "wild child". She has so much energy. Loves to run and play and loves everyone she meets. Loves her toys and tossing them about to catch. When walking in the woods she will stop and chew tree stumps and pick up sticks to chew. She thinks she is part beaver. Doesn't chew household items. She steals owner's mitts right off her hands when walking, but sleeps like a baby at night or when watching TV.

Indy is done, she looks so beautiful! I've packed her up and she is on her way home across Canada tomorrow.
Missy & Molly
These two mischievous pocket beagles are adorable. I had did a photo shoot with them to meet and get photos that would reveal their personalities. Missy was the wee demur brown angel and Molly was not letting me go knowing the treats were in my pocket. Hmmm, is that why they call them pocket? Either way they are a delight! The photograph is one of the photos I took during the seesion but I ended up using one head from one photo and the other head from another photo.
Nikki
An international pup, originally from Hungary, moved to Tennessee, Nashville and now lives here in the Hat. This nine year old Yorkshire Terrier is not a barker nor is he interested in toys. He just lives to sit in his Mommy's lap and keep her company.
Zoey
This quiet, dear cutie has this look all the time. I just loved this angle to showcase that unforgettable stare.
My client sent me a photo of the perfect frame she found for Zoey.

Bug
I am smitten with this Kitten! And Bug is done! This precious feline is complete and Bug has returned home.

Rosie - Mexican heritage
OMG, this portrait is stunning, so hard to give to customer. You are beautiful Rosie, it was a joy to create you in pastels.
Oh my this portrait is looking good. I'm loving the undertones that will perk up the top layers.

All in the family
6 weeks, 4 dogs, 1 cat and a goat! Top left to right and bottom are: Annie, Barney, Synchro, Lavish, Tempo & Snickers. This is 3 feet x 3 feet completed in acrylic.
This portrait was completed for my client's daughters milestone birthday. I believe from the look on her and her husbands face that they were truly in shock.
I composed the painting from various photos and because they live in BC this was painted with a BC flair.
